Prayers

Cathedral Caregivers Prayer List – Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral

Please keep Jane Moddison in your prayers. Jane has been in the hospital for the past three weeks while doctors continue to investigate a condition that has not yet been diagnosed.

We ask God to place His healing hands upon Jane, give her strength and peace during this difficult time, and provide wisdom and guidance to the doctors and medical team caring for her. Pray that they will have clarity and insight to identify the cause of her illness and determine the right treatment.

Please also pray for Jane’s family and loved ones, that God would give them comfort, strength, and reassurance as they walk through this uncertain time.

Lord, we place Jane in Your loving hands and trust in Your healing, mercy, and grace. May Your presence surround her each day and give her hope and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.  (Sept 8th 2026)

Please remember Pearly, a dear friend of Ruth Singh, in your prayers. Pearly is experiencing heart problems and needs God’s healing touch and strength during this difficult time.

Let us pray that the Lord will watch over Pearly, strengthen her heart and body, and guide the doctors and medical team as they provide her care. May God grant them wisdom and discernment in determining the best treatment.

Please also pray for peace and comfort for Pearly and her loved ones. May she feel God’s presence surrounding her and be reminded that she is not alone.

Heavenly Father, we place Pearly into Your loving hands. Bring healing to her body, peace to her heart, and strength for each day. Give wisdom to those caring for her and comfort to everyone who is concerned for her. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen. (Sept 8th 2026)

Thank you for faithfully holding our family members in your prayers. And as we look beyond our faith community, let’s also remember those around the work facing conflict and displacement, asking God to bring peace, provision, and relief from suffering.  Let’s continue to pray for an end to the continuing wars around the world and that our leaders be guided by wisdom and compassion, making decisions rooted in justice, fairness, and an earnest desire for peace.
We also lift-up those walking uncertain paths–facing broken relationships, carrying heavy burdens, or facing depression.  May the Lord bring light into the darkest places, restoring hope.  For anyone feeling overwhelmed, may God’s peace steady their hearts, renew their strength and remind them to pause, breathe, and trust that they are never alone.
We continue to stay rooted in prayer, trusting that God listens, God cares, and God responds in love. ❤️
